Jersey and Guernsey will make you discover an undulated landscape populated with charming cottages, flowered chapels, mills and vibrant little seaports.
The coastline thrives with spectacular rocky points above the ocean and long, fine sandy shores.
On the little seigniorial Isle of Sark, only the sound of horse carts will disturb the quiet of your ride.
All these journeys will allow you enough time to enjoy a brunch at the pub or a break under the sun, facing the sea.

Arrrival in Saint-Malo
Arrival in Saint-Malo. Night in St Malo, dinner at your expenses in one of the numerous restaurants.
Crossing to Jersey and West Coat by bike : Saint-Ouen’s bay 37 km
Early in the morning, you go by bike or by car to the harbor (no luggage transfer). Crossing to Jersey and first trip on the West Coast, along the stretched St. Ouen’s Bay, surrounded by Corbière Point and the cliffs of Groznez. You can discover many Second World War fortifications all along this day trip.
North coast of Jersey 37 km
Reach the north coast of Jersey via the « Green lanes » in the green valley right in the heart of Jersey. On the north coast you will discover dramatic cliffs: Grève de Lecq, le Trou du Diable. Return to St. Hélier via Saint-John’s village.
East of Jersey, Mont Orgueil 33 km
Cycle to La Rocque Harbour, the famous Jersey Pottery museum, Mont Orgeuil Castle and the large bays of Saint-Clément & Grouville.
Jersey – Guernsey and Jerbourg point 25 km
Free time in Saint-Hélier, then crossing to Guernsey (1h). Circuit form Saint-Peter to the South coast. Dramatic view from Jerbourg point on all of the South Coast: Moulin Huet Bay, Saint’s Bay. Return to St. Peter via the “Ruettes Tranquilles”. According to the boat schedule, you might won’t have to do this tour today but on day 8 before your crossing back to Saint-Malo.
Crossing to Sark (1h), an island « out of the world » without cars but with a Seignory with wonderful gardens. A cyclist paradise with great sea views all along the route. No bike on the boat, you can book a bike (not included) on the island or walk along the nice paths.
West Coast of Guernsey : Lihou Island 30 km
In a bucolic landscape you reach the lovely Rocquaine’s bay and the mysterious Lihou Island. Return trip by the Talbot Valley and Saint-Andrew village in the heart of the island.
Crossing back to Saint-Malo
Free time to discover Saint-Peter Port, Victor Hugo’s house, Candie garden or to a tour by bike. Luggage transfer to the harbour. Crossing to Saint-Malo (possible stop in Jersey).
From 1st of April to 30th of September 2017. In April and October, crossings are not available every day, please ask. Some dates are very busy, please ask before booking.
Short journeys. A few hills on the south of Guernsey. Narrow country lanes where cyclists have priority and car speed is regulated.
Beginning of the trip : day 1 in the afternoon in the Saint-Malo hotel.
End : day 8 in Saint-Malo (depending on the return ferry crossing from Guernsey)
By train : TGV Paris – Saint-Malo. The train station is only 25 min walking from the harbour and city center. Taxi 8€ or you can take a shuttle to the city hearth (every 20 min, 1€25 in 2015).
By car : from Paris : A13 toward Caen then A84 towards Rennes. Then follow « Mont Saint-Michel », and Saint-Malo (N175 and N176). In Saint-Malo, follow the signs « intra-muros ».
Parking : parking in the ferry terminal. 2016 rate : 10€ every 24h.
Accommodation and food:
2 or 3 star hotels, 1 night in Saint-Malo (Bed and Breakfast), 3 nights in SaintHélier and 3 nights in Saint-Peter Port (B&B).
Dinners in option (except day 1 in Saint-Malo).
